Iljimae 18 spoiler

Well, 17 was one intense thing after another. And uh.. predictions for 18 seem pretty dire and action packed too. (Recap for 18 up as soon as they release the csubs.)

Sooo, spoilers ahead, do not read if you are the type to shriek and run away at spoilers.

Preview gave us glimpses of Yongi looking furious, Bong Soon pretending to be Iljimae, and Shi Hoo holding down a crying Eun Chae’s arm with his teacher looking on… a bit more context gives that:

The king’s people send a message to Iljimae, saying that if he doesn’t give himself in, then Eun Chae will die. There’s a severed finger with the message. (Errrr. Yuck. Also, poor Eun Chae.)

He rushes off to save her but Bong Soon stops him because she knows it’s probably a trap for him. She reminds him of a promise made to go away with his mother and her, but he says sorry because it’s more important to save Eun Chae.

Iljimae goes to rescue her anyway, and Bong Soon decoys people away. Lots of complicated stuff, but I’ll have to wait for the Chinese subs to explain any of it.

Pictures!!

THEY’RE PULLING A HGD ON US!!! I’m still trying to get over the waterworks of 17 and now they’re just going to smack me with 18. Guh! I sense death looming over the horizon.

Yet another sleepless night for me. T_T

I guess Bong Soon will end up more dead than near death cos Yong had already given his farewell present… his first kiss…

These historical dramas writers are so evil. I have given up on having a happy ending with Yong sitting on the throne… I’m still hoping that the monk will save the day.

Damm, that Shi Hoo is bad! He’s forever pouting. And when that’s not enough, he attacks when the person’s back is turned, even after the other spares his life. I mean he’s even worse than the assassin #2, who spares Yong’s life when Yong saved his life on the cliff. Oh well, I hope he gets his ass kicked in the end. Maybe he sacrificed his worthless finger for Eun Chae. Oh yeah, the “sister” he really shouldn’t have the hots for. Ok, I think it’s no loss if he’s killed off. 🙂

    WHERE CAN I WATCH EP18

irugnotmis: Not yet. Half-tragedy, in the tradition of that rare Sageuk that ends sort of happily. It’s not Legend-ized nor HGD-ized yet.

Guys, 18 wasn’t that bad, seriously. They can’t pull a waterworks on us twice in a row. I guess 19 will be pretty bad though.

Here’s a link for the raw episode, streaming: http://www.93lai.cn/rh/11704/play.html?8880733,youku.

And, Korean Drama Fan, it depends on what type you want. If you want to watch it live, it’s at the SBS CJB channel online. Soompi, aigoo and clubbox have the raw episodes. I watch the csubs, which are released over at tsxz.com, and if you want English subs, then I’d suggest you check out mysoju/crunchyroll, or download the subs from KST and watch it with the raw.

Let me know if you need help.

In English, you have to wait until it gets uploaded to mysoju.com (unless you’re willing to download the episodes at Aigoo and wait for the subs to be released by KST).

In Chinese, you can go to youku.com, tudou.com, 56.com, xiaoli.cc or any other video streaming site and find the csubs. If you want to download the hardsubbed episode, I would recommend going to tsxz.com and getting it from the distributors. Hope that helps.

    @sevenses.
thanks. i dont really need subs because im korean and i sorta understand but the problem is, i rely on youtube or crunchyroll for the episodes
on youtube, it was up to date. like after one episode aired, in a couple hours someone would upload it. but youtube keeps suspending or removing the videos.
and mysoju.com has only up to ep8. i need ep 18.

In that case, http://www.aigoo.withs2.net/iljimae/ has all the raw episodes. When I get home I’ll email you the Chinese channels for Iljimae. They’re only subbed, not voiceovered, so you should be able to watch those too. 😀
