Boy Meets Boy
What with all the recent squealing about Merlin and now this, people are probably starting to suspect some sort of ‘gay agenda’ on my part. (Ahaha, gay agenda. God, the things we do to words.)
All I can say is, wait til I write my post on Antique.
(But seriously, if you’re disturbed by all this talk of gay subtext, please go and watch some SuJu videos, because there’s nothing like blatant gay overtext to desensitize you. Subtext will be around for a long time.)
Theme songs:

Fly, Daddy, Fly!
I was craving me some Swe Dol, so I watched this movie, which has surprisingly young-looking Lee Jun Ki and an adorable Lee Moon Shik. I believe there is also a Japanese movie of the same name, and both are based on a manga… but anyway, this version stands out by virtue of Lee Jun Ki’s beautiful face.
The Spirit of This Place – Core of Soul (Do tell me if this doesn’t work for you.)
Recap
LJK plays recalcitrant high schooler Seung Suk, while LMS plays your typical white-collar father. When his daughter is beaten up by a high school boxing champion, LMS’s character, Jang Ga Pil, feels his own powerlessness and disappoints his daughter and wife by his craven behaviour. Stung by his daughter’s rejection, Jang goes to knife the bastard who did it. He is stopped by Seung Suk and two friends, who honestly wish to help him.

Doremifasolatido Movie Recap
Dun dun dun!

Here’s where to watch it in : English, or in Chinese.

Yoon Jaewang – Jungwon’s bro
Shin Sohyun – Eungyu’s sis
Kang Heewon – An Asshat

Doremifasolatido, A Recap:
There is an amusement park! (Pause for my moment of nausea.)
Jungwon, dressed in a dragon suit, is obviously new at this. She falls down while dancing on stage, is chased by kids with pitchforks (symbol? lol), and then someone turns her giant head, so she falls.
She stomps around looking for the culprits and bumps into a gang of loud guys. They pick on her some more. Eungyu is there, doing his disinterested thing, but she is so angry she empties another customer’s soda on him. (The girl she took the soda from looks positively startled.)
The guys are amused (and some of them are wearing furry ears, no points for taste) but Eungyu is pissed.
Jungwon is dragged away by a distraught coworker.
